Omni CMS
Omni CMS is our official content management system. It helps you create, edit, and manage your unit's web pages and files.
You can navigate to the Omni CMS platform via the DirectEdit Link shown at the bottom of the web page.
Gaining access/permission to edit on Omni CMS
User training is required for all new web content editors. Upon approval from your department lead, you can sign up and take this two-hour training course to achieve access to your department's website. This training session will help introduce you to the Omni CMS interface while learning how to quickly manage your unit's website.
If you attended an Omni CMS training session previously, you are not required to attend another training session.
Trouble with accessing your unit's web page
This circumstance usually occurs due to another user having the page checked out (lightbulb on). Checking in and checking out of web pages are covered in the Editing Pages section.
If the page is not checked out, you can fill out a Web Support Request to gain access to the page.
